We had some very close and competitive prone shooting at this weekend’s PTO! I had a great start in the morning with solid 10's in the sighting and preparation period, then I heard it... The wheels of Jr shooter Matt's gear bag, oh how he loves to be fashionably late, though his tardiness was understandable with the activities of the CHP fitness test, occupying our only access point into and out of the rang. Anyways, by the time he was setup I had already posted my first two competition strings a 99 & 98.
All competitors shot incredibly well, and I would love to share pictures however, my digital camera seems to have met its end two nights earlier... Just FYI concrete floors are not healthy for any piece of modern technology.
The match results are as follows:
Kurt 590 with 34 Centers (scope)
Matt 587 with 27 Centers
Cameron 586 with 31 Centers
Mike 584 with 28 Centers
Jober 584 with 27 Centers
John 580 with 23 Centers
Rodger 579 with 23 Centers
William 567 with 14 Centers
All eight of these competitors shot extremely well! And after the competition they continued by shooting a 20 shot practice prone final.
