22LR Rimfire Smallbore Rifle Range Rules

1. ​Only .22 rimfire rifles are permitted. Rifles with any kind of magazine are limited to being loaded with no more than five rounds.
2. Only .22 long rifle match or standard velocity ammo is allowed. No High Velocity or magnum ammo may be used.
3. While present at the range, every club member is a safety officer. Safety is your responsibility!
4. No rapid firing is allowed.
5. Minors must be under direct control of their parents whether shooting or not.
6. No shooting at any wildlife.
7. Firearms must be handled in a safe manner at all times. Treat all firearms as if loaded at all times.
8. All actions must be open and unloaded when anyone is down range. Actions may be closed when the rifle is unloaded and in a case.
9. Firearms are to be pointed down range at all times.
10. all firearm actions will be opened and unloaded immediately upon the command "Cease Fire"
11. Any person committing an unsafe act will be directed to leave the range immediately.
12. Eye & ear protection is required.
13. Any person under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to shoot.
14. Shoot only at properly mounted paper targets, not at any cans, bottles or other objects.
15. Remain quiet on the firing line while others are shooting.
16. Except during matches, line breaks will be called on the hour and half-hour for the purpose of changing or retrieving targets.
17. Clean up your area after shooting, especially picking up all your brass and depositing it into the cans on the firing line.
18. Remember to pay for your targets. Prices are posted in the targets container.
19. Remember Safety is the #1 priority of our sport, no firearm accident has ever happened at our range since it was built in 1938 DO NOT BE THE FIRST!
